Welcome to AutisticLiving.com Promote Awareness

This site is an idea born from the parents of an Autistic child. After spending countless hours, if not months of searching for information, the need became clear. A truly comprehensive web resource does not exist for parents and siblings trying to deal with Autism. While all of the information is out there, obtaining it, and filtering it, is an absolutely grueling process. This is the goal of AutisticLiving.com. To allow parents to spend more time living instead of researching, which in turn will give their autistic child a better life. There should be no need to spend so much time in search of information. There should be no need to rely on your developmental pediatrician's advice alone.

There are also very few online resources available to autistic adults. While this area of the site may end up being the most challenging to create, it is in the project plan.

The information contained in the site will not be medical advice, but it will help in fostering meaningful discussions with your pediatrician. Any information you do obtain from this site, or any other, should be discussed with a medical/developmental professional.

We are not doctors, and in light of that, you should not go by the information obtained in AutisticLiving.com alone. Always consult with your doctor.
